Welcome!
Hey – I’m Lee. I’m an operations and strategy leader who has spent the last three decades working alongside teams – watching what helps people work well together, and what quietly breaks momentum over time.
My background spans music, teaching, operations, and technology, and I’ve led teams in environments where clarity mattered more than speed and consistency mattered more than intensity. Across all of it, I’ve been drawn to the same questions: how groups function, how trust is built, and why good people often struggle inside poorly designed systems.
These days, I write to make sense of those patterns – not to offer one-size-fits-all answers, but to share observations, frameworks, and ideas that help leaders build teams that actually work.
What I do
- I’m building AI-first Customer Support and Onboarding at Better Email and ListingLeads
- I lead Team Workshops on building and refining teams
- I host Follow Up Boss Office Hours webinars, Product Launch/Update webinars, and advise FUB Product
- I like to make useful things…
I tend to live at the intersection of structure and culture: translating messy reality into practical systems, clear expectations, and decisions that hold up over time.
I’m also a lifelong musician, and I think a lot about rhythm – not in a poetic way, but in the way consistency shapes trust and performance.
Lately, I’m thinking about…
- Why consistency beats intensity
- Group dynamics: trust, tension, accountability, and communication
- Operational clarity: roles, decision-making, and “who owns what”
- Writing and long-term creative projects
- Music as a discipline — and why it maps cleanly to leadership
Writing
Notes, frameworks, and stories — mostly about teams, sometimes about music, and often about how people actually change.
